OAHU WEDDING OFFICIANT SERVICES

Congratulations on your engagement! Whether you want an intimate ceremony, a grand event, or something in between I will work with you to create a ceremony that will make your day special. I am Wedding Officiant Kim Crinella and I officiate non religious wedding and vow renewal ceremonies on the island of Oahu for traditional and same sex couples inspired by the love of the couple and/or fun themes in locations like beaches, backyards, parks, gardens and homes.

Witnesses are not required in Hawaii for weddings or vow renewals so locals and couples on vacation can have a private ceremony in a romantic location with just the two of them and me to officiate the ceremony. I make it easy for couples to have a beautiful meaningful private ceremony focused on their love without the stress or excessive cost of a big formal wedding! I offer three Wedding Officiant service options including a wedding at a Oahu location of your choosing, a Just Make Us Legal wedding at my Kapolei office, and a Tattoo Wedding option at Neck Deep Tattoo in Kaneohe.

Wedding Officiant Services At A Oahu Location Of Your Choosing Includes:

❤️ You may write your own words of Love to say during the ring exchange portion of the ceremony or I can create something for you to say.

❤ Wedding Traditions and Unity Ceremonies
I do not charge anything additional if you would like to incorporate a lei exchange, sand unity ceremony or traditions into your ceremony. The most popular in Hawaii are the lei exchange, the sand unity ceremony, and Honi Honi/Ha Breath of Life ceremony. I have wooden bowls for the sand unity ceremony available for use at no charge. The wedding couple is responsible for providing leis or any other items used in any of the unity ceremonies they wish to incorporate.
There are hundreds of unity ceremonies and wedding traditions from different cultures that can be incorporated into a wedding or vow renewal ceremony. There is no right or wrong way to have your ceremony. Choose to incorporate what will be meaningful to both of you and make your ceremony special and specific to you as a couple.

🌺 Fresh Orchid Leis: You may request fresh single strung variegated purple/white dendrobium orchid leis to wear for your ceremony or to use for a lei exchange during the ceremony. These leis are the most popular leis given out in Hawaii and their beautiful color pops in photos. About 50 fresh purple with white orchid blooms are used to create each lei. These orchids are big in size creating a nice fluffy lei, are hearty so they wont wilt fast with the heat of the body and the sun, and are unscented which is good if you have allergies or are scent sensitive. $60 plus tax for two leis. Request a quote if you would like more than 2 leis, like if you would like to give leis to your wedding guests.

Circle of Flowers is a tradition in Hawaii where the wedding couple has a circle of blooms mark the spot where they will exchange vows. The circle of flowers is symbolic of their never ending love for one another and their eternal pledge they commit to one another in the circle.

🌺 MY WEDDING SERVICES CIRCLE OF FLOWER OPTIONS
If you will be hiring me to officiate your wedding on Oahu I have two options for circle of flowers if you would like me to provide it for you:
FRESH ORCHIDS: A 10 foot garland of beautiful fresh purple with white dendrobium orchid blooms is a easy way to lay down the circle of flowers and it cleans up quickly after the ceremony. $120 plus tax.
LIFELIKE SILK MAILE WITH TUBEROSE RENTAL: Have a lifelike silk Maile garland with tuberose to mark your ceremony spot. For a use fee of $25 plus tax I will bring the garland, set it up, and pick it up after the ceremony.

❤ Shower of Flowers with Dendrobium Orchids: After the ceremony rather than tossing rice guests toss dendrobium orchid blooms to celebrate the happy couple’s nuptials! You don’t need a lot of guests or a lot of blooms. In the photo below each guest tossed 2 orchid blooms and it created an amazing photo of everyone celebrating! $30 plus tax for 70 loose orchid blooms.

This couple had a circle of flowers and a shower of flowers!

Budget Photography Service

🤳If you will be hiring me to officiate your wedding or vow renewal I am happy to take a couple of photos with your phone camera at no charge. If you would like to have more than a couple of photos, I was a wedding photographer before I became an officiant and I offer an inexpensive wedding photo package where during the hour I am with you on your wedding day I will take photos using your phone camera before and after the ceremony. Since I am unable to take photos while I am officiating the ceremony I have a cell phone tripod that you may use to take video of the ceremony where you can take photos from the video later. The photo above was captured from one couple’s video taken on their phone during their ceremony. You have full ownership of all photos and videos and get to take them with you on your phone to share and keep.
$125 plus tax

Just Make Us Legal Wedding

❤ Just Make Us Legal Wedding (similar to a courthouse wedding)
For couples just looking to just make it legal I offer a discounted simple wedding officiant service. This has been popular during the pandemic and for military couples who need to be legally married to get housing but are planning a formal wedding at a later time and/or destination with family and friends.
We meet at my office located in Kapolei to make your marriage legal similar to a courthouse wedding. The ceremony is brief however you may exchange rings and say your own vows if you like. I will even take a few photos after the ceremony using your phone to capture memories of your first moments being married.
My fee for a Just Make Us Legal is $150 plus tax meeting at my Kapolei office.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO: If you would like a Just Make Us Legal ceremony contact me with the day and time you would like to be married. Once I confirm I am available a $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure the day/time and is deducted from the total due on the day of the ceremony. The deposit can be paid by Venmo, PayPal, debit card or credit card. Show up on your reserved day/time with Hawaii marriage license and rings if you will be exchanging them. The balance due can be paid in cash or by Venmo, PayPal, debit card or credit card.
Click Here for easy instructions on how to apply for your Hawaii marriage license which is required to be legally married. Apply online then the couple must pick up together in person up to 30 days prior to wedding day.
◊ I provide same day online certification of your marriage license following the wedding ceremony. You will receive an email from the State of Hawaii two business days after the wedding with a link where you can download your marriage certificate which is legal proof of marriage.

Tattoo Wedding or Vow Renewal

This couple got married and lock and key wrist wedding tattoos!

❤ Tattoo Wedding or Vow Renewal Say “I Do!” and get tattoos!
With the growth in popularity of tattoos, some couples are opting for tattoo rings or meaningful designs on other body parts rather than traditional wedding bands or rings. After receiving a request for a tattoo wedding ring ceremony I have partnered with Neck Deep Tattoo in Kaneohe to offer wedding and vow renewal ceremonies at their tattoo shop and their tattoo artists will tattoo the wedding couple with wedding rings or other meaningful tattoos as part of the ceremony.

FYI’S

❤ Pre-Wedding Consultation
One hour of pre-wedding consultation service in person, phone, and/or by email is included with the full service wedding officiant services. No ceremony weddings should not require a pre-wedding consultation, only wedding license instructions. Should you require additional consultation services exceeding the included 1 hour consultation, services will be billed at $75 per hour and any portion of.

❤ Officiant’s After Hour Fee
If you require me to be present at the ceremony location for longer than an hour after the agreed upon arrival time, like if there is a late start or if you would like them to attend the Rehearsal and/or Reception, there is a fee of $100 per hour billed in one hour increments. On the day of the ceremony if the wedding is delayed and the couple requires I stay longer than the included hour, $100 per hour billed in one hour increments will be due in cash or Venmo at the time of the wedding or payable by invoice online by credit card once I return from the wedding and must be paid before I will certify the wedding with the State of Hawaii to make the marriage legal. I am required to certify a marriage within 3 days of officiating to make it legal.

❤ About My Pricing
Don’t judge the wedding officiant you choose only on price, it won’t matter how cheap a officiant is if they don’t show up or if their ceremony doesn’t reflect you as a couple. You would be surprised how many calls I get from panicked couples because their officiate canceled on them last minute. Having an officiate that is reliable is essential and I WILL be there!  Please consider all of the time and work that goes into creating a meaningful custom ceremony for your special day. Pricing for my wedding officiant services includes more than just officiating on the day of the ceremony. I work with each couple in a phone or email consultation to learn about the couple and what would make their ceremony meaningful and special to them. I make suggestions and answer questions. After the consultation I create a custom ceremony for each couple. I enjoy writing ceremonies and vows for couples and am happy to create specific themed ceremonies or just have a it be love centric theme. I provide wedding couples easy to follow instructions for applying for a Hawaii state marriage license. This is several hours of work even before the day of the ceremony. On the day of the ceremony I have to be early to be sure to be on time and have time to go over the ceremony plan before officiating the ceremony. Many hours and thoughtful work goes into officiating the ceremony for your special day. I am committed to creating and performing a thoughtful meaningful ceremony for each couple and being there as promised for your ceremony.

I will officiate your service anywhere… from the mountain tops to in the ocean. I will hike, swim, dress in costume, and perform unique themed non-religious ceremonies if requested. I offer the lanai of my home for small intimate ceremonies with just the couple and up to 2 guests at no additional charge.

To put things in perspective, most service professionals in Hawaii (like a mobile mechanic or electrician) charge at least $100+ just to show up before doing any work.

After working with me my couples tell me how grateful they are they chose me and how much my customized ceremonies meant to them and made their wedding/vow renewal so special. They appreciate that I have easy going attitude and am easy to work with. They are grateful to have someone willing to answer their questions and walk them through the confusing wedding process. Couples also like that I am flexible with changes and do not charge extra when changes are made. I look forward to working with you and creating a beautiful custom ceremony for your special day!
