Vow Renewal

This couple celebrated their 40 years of marriage with a Vow Renewal while on vacation!

Intimate Vow Renewal At A Oahu Beach

Already legally married and want to renew your vows while you are vacationing on Oahu? Whether you want to renew your vows to celebrate your many years of marriage or if you just want to renew your vows with your feet in the sand on a beautiful beach while on vacation on Oahu, I will create a beautiful love centric vow renewal ceremony for you and help you find a beautiful beach location to reaffirm you vows of love.

🫶🏼Some of the beaches on the island of Oahu require a use permit to have a gathering like for weddings, vow renewals or parties. There is an additional fee of $50 if you choose a beach or park that requires a use permit and I arrange the $1M Liability Event Insurance and the state of Hawaii use permit.

🫶🏼I will create a personalized ceremony for you and will incorporate any traditions that will be meaningful to you. I will ask you a few questions to help me learn a little about your journey as a couple to help me personalize your ceremony. You may share as much or little about yourself as you like and your memories together that you would like to have included in the ceremony.

🫶🏼You may re-exchange your wedding rings as you reaffirm your vows. You will have an opportunity to say your own vows or words of love to each other during the ring exchange. If you prefer to omit this you may.

🫶🏼I will provide up to one hour of pre-vow renewal consultation by email and/or phone to answer your questions and help me to personalize your ceremony.

🫶🏼On the day of your vow renewal I will be available for up to one hour after the agreed upon meeting time to perform your ceremony.

Wedding Traditions and Unity Ceremonies

🫶🏼You may incorporate any wedding traditions that will be meaningful to you, like a sand unity ceremony or lei exchange. What some couples do for their vow renewal if they do not want to exchange rings, because they can’t take their ring off or don’t want to, is to exchange leis. A lei exchange can be incorporate if you decide to exchange rings or not.

The most popular in Hawaii are the lei exchange, the sand unity ceremony, and Honi Honi/Ha Breath of Life ceremony. I have wooden bowls for the sand unity ceremony available for use at no charge. The wedding couple is responsible for providing leis or any other items used in any of the unity ceremonies they wish to incorporate. I can provide orchid leis for an additional fee.
There are hundreds of unity ceremonies and wedding traditions from different cultures that can be incorporated into a wedding or vow renewal ceremony. There is no right or wrong way to have your ceremony. Choose to incorporate what will be meaningful to both of you and make your ceremony special and specific to you as a couple.
Click here for more information and meanings behind the most popular unity ceremonies and traditions that you can incorporate into your ceremony like lei exchange, sand unity, Ha Breath of Life unity, beer unity, tree planting ceremony and more!

If you would like to have a lei exchange incorporated into your vow renewal you may provide your own leis or I am happy to provide two orchid leis for an additional $60 plus tax.

❤ Fresh Orchid Leis: You may request fresh single strung variegated purple/white dendrobium orchid leis to wear for your ceremony or to use for a lei exchange during the ceremony. These leis are the most popular leis given out in Hawaii and their beautiful color pops in photos. About 50 fresh purple with white orchid blooms are used to create each lei. These orchids are big in size creating a nice fluffy lei, are hearty so they wont wilt fast with the heat of the body and the sun, and are unscented which is good if you have allergies or are scent sensitive. $60 plus tax for two leis. Request a quote if you would like more than 2 leis, like if you would like to give leis to your vow renewal guests.

Circle of Flowers

Circle of Flowers is a tradition in Hawaii where the wedding couple has a circle of blooms mark the spot where they will exchange vows. The circle of flowers is symbolic of their never ending love for one another and their eternal pledge they commit to one another in the circle.

🌺 OPTIONAL CIRCLE OF FLOWER OPTIONS 🌺

If you will be hiring me to officiate your wedding on Oahu I have two options for circle of flowers if you would like me to provide it for you:
🌺 FRESH ORCHIDS: A 10 foot garland of beautiful fresh purple with white dendrobium orchid blooms is a easy way to lay down the circle of flowers and it cleans up quickly after the ceremony. $120 plus tax.
🌺 LIFELIKE SILK MAILE WITH TUBEROSE RENTAL: Have a lifelike silk Maile garland with tuberose to mark your ceremony spot. For a use fee of $25 plus tax I will bring the garland, set it up, and pick it up after the ceremony.

Deposit To Secure Your Date and Time

Once you have chosen a date and time for your ceremony a $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure my services, Wedding Officiant Kim Crinella, for a specific date and time for your ceremony. Payment can be made by Venmo, CashApp, PayPal, Debit Card or Credit Card. This deposit is deducted from the balance which is due on the day of the ceremony and can be paid in cash, Venmo or CashApp. The deposit is not refundable if the date of the vow renewal is changed or cancelled.

Budget Photography Option

🤳If you will be hiring me to officiate your vow renewal I am happy to take a couple of photos with your phone camera at no charge. If you would like to have more than a couple of photos, I was a wedding photographer before I became an officiant and I offer an inexpensive wedding photo package where during the hour I am with you on your vow renewal day I will take photos using your phone camera before and after the ceremony. Since I am unable to take photos while I am officiating the ceremony I have a cell phone tripod that you may use to take video of the ceremony where you can take photos from the video later. The photo below was captured from one couple’s video taken on their phone during their ceremony. You have full ownership of all photos and videos and get to take them with you on your phone to share and keep.
$125 plus tax

❤ Officiant’s After Hour Fee
On the day of the ceremony if the wedding is delayed and the couple requires I stay longer than the included hour, $100 per hour billed in one hour increments will be due in cash, CashApp, or Venmo at the time of the vow renewal.
