Couples Coming From Countries Outside USA
Couples from countries outside the USA may have an additional step of requesting a Apostille which is a type of certification or notary service that is recognized by countries which signed the Hague Convention Treaty. Click here to see a list of countries which require an Apostille. An Apostille can be acquired from a private notary with the credentials or there is someone in the dept of Health building downtown Honolulu where the marriage license can be picked up that is certified to provide Apostille services.
